Deer Haven Cottage is a newly built cottage or cabin that is located just 30 feet
behind the main house, the Historic Kuebler Waldrip
Haus building where we serve a wonderful large candlelight
breakfast brunch. It is located on 43 scenic texas hill country acres just

Here is a little history behind the Deer Haven
Cottage, and it is built from cement walls that were left over from a New Braunfels
bank. It used to be our barn. The three Waldrip children and their
father, Larry Waldrip who is a Texas Aggie and
retired veterinarian, raised prize show cattle for a total of 8 years.
These 4-h and FFA projects helped raise and
teach the now grown children a schedule, a work ethic, values, and
responsibility.
The Deer Haven Cottage is a
truely charming 5 room apartment with 3 bedrooms, a living room, a private
shower/Jacuzzi bath, and a dining room. This one floor building
has tile floors, some antiques, barnwood cabinets, handmade quilts, and
has a comfortable homey decor.
Other features that the Deer Haven Cottage has are:

- Beds: 2 queen beds and 2 twins (with 1 rollaway twin)

DEER HAVEN COTTAGE NIGHTLY ROOM
RATES:
The nightly rate for 2 people is $205. Maximum up to 6
people.
If you have added guests, figure the added rates as
follows:
1. Each added adult (ages 18 and
older) is $30.00 .
2. Each child (ages 2-17) is
$20.00 . No charge for babies.
PET
FRIENDLY LODGING (dogs, cats, and pet deer):
Deer Haven is
our only pet friendly room. We do allow small pets (5-25 lbs.) in this
building and ** this must be pre-arranged when
making your reservation. Pets are $15 each night per pet with a limit of

The following pet rules are just
common sense and are to help keep you and your pet(s) healthy and safe.

furniture or quilts.
D. The pet(s) if let outside must be on a leash at
all times. The reason for this is because we have wildlife and
livestock on the property. We also do not want your pet getting out on the
county road.
