AUGUST - HARVEST WINE TRAIL
The
"Harvest Wine Trail" entices you through newly picked vineyards to wineries
filled with the smells of new wine and the excitement of the harvest season.
Enjoy patio sitting, picnics and more along with a glass of wine of your
favorite vintage. Remember Lucy! (Lucille Ball) Reenact her famous grape stomp
at the specific wineries offering annual stomps. A special drawing package
awaits you at each winery visited with your registration ticket. The trail is
the third and fourth Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the
month.

See why all of Texas is celebrating along
the "Texas Wine Month Passport Trail". Celebrate new releases or revisit old
favorites still available as autumn begins in the Texas Wine Country. Purchase
your passport and receive the year's unique collectors' t-shirt. Kick off
weekend is the first weekend of the month but all month the passport is honored.

WURSTFEST - An Annual Sausage Festival
A Ten Day Salute to Sausage!
Location: Wurstfest Ground in Landa Park

With its German roots, it shouldn't be surprising that New Braunfels is home to a 10-day salute to the Sausage! Wurstfest begins on the Friday before the first Monday in November, and is held on the Wurstfest Grounds in Landa Park. The festival began in 1961, and for the last 45 years has honored the traditional foods that were brought by German tourists. Wurstfest is open beginning at 5pm on weekdays, and is open on weekends beginning at 11am. It closes at 12 midnight on Thursday and Friday, 1 am on Saturday and 11 pm on Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults, children under 12 are free. Food and drink are sold throughout the grounds. Enjoy live music, singing, and dancing.

TRAIL
Start your holiday festivities with a trip
down the "Holiday Wine Trail". Visit Trail Wineries dressed for the season and
filled with wines for gifts, parties and special dinners. With your registration
confirmed and ticket in hand, you will collect a dated ornament, specially
chosen, at each Trail Winery. Add each one to the grapevine wreath you receive
with your ticket purchase and you will have fond memories for years to come.
This Trail is held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the first two weekends of
the month and sells out early every year.
