Guilbeau Room is an upstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building with a queen size bed and a twin bed. This large private bath has two sections. One section has 2 lavatories and the other section has a shower and tub. The Guilbeau Room is a bedroom in the middle of the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building, and it does not have a porch. However, there is a nice view from the windows.... and there are many beautiful places to sit outside. The Guilbeau Room is over the kitchen, so you enjoy the good fragrance of breakfast or coffee before having breakfast. This room is named after Francious Guilbeau, a French wine merchant in the 1800s. As documented in the Institute of Texan Cultures in San Antonio Texas, Francious Guilbeau was credited with saving the French wine industry with Texas Mustang grapes. If you love Texas history, please see our history page or the link above for Mr. Guilbeau.
