Historic Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast has a total of 3 buildings and a total of 11 bedrooms that can sleep 22-34 people. A king or queen bed is in each room, and some rooms have additional beds to sleep 3, 4, or up to 5 in a room. Each room has a private bath (4 rooms with whirlpools), heat, AC, ceiling fans, TV, VCR, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and supplies, access to the common room, and a full breakfast in included in the basic room rates. Two of our rooms are wheelchair accessible (Kuebler's Kastle in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus and the Sweet Retreat Room in the Danville Schoolhouse).

COMMON ROOM - is a large downstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building that is open to all of our guests anytime. Guests may access our common room that has a large sitting area with leather seating, a wonderful book and video library, wireless internet, table games, cards, or just relax. Food and refreshments including homemade snacks, drinks, and Texas Blue Bell Ice Cream are always available. Add Amaretto, chocolate syrup, or make a coke float.  The common room is always open, so please make yourselves welcome.

As our guest, you are welcome to watch TV in your room or come down to our common room where there is a 42" HD TV. Guests also enjoy our facilities outside such as our playground, picnic tables, fireplace, BBQ pit, fishing pond (please bring your fishing gear), amazing star gazing "deep in the heart of  Texas", wildlife (for example: deer, birds, bobcat, racoon, skunk, fox, or even a cougar).

Perfect for almost any type of event including church groups, family reunions, vacations, getaways, weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, business meetings, church retreats, girls night out and (corporate, regional, and manager) retreats. Children welcome (0-100).


All of our rooms have a king or queen size bed, a private bath, private entrance, heat, AC, TV with a VCR, ceiling fans, common room access, complimentary refreshments, and with or without breakfast. 

SMOKING POLICY: ** All rooms are no smoking, however, we do allow smoking on the porch outside. Please pick up all butts and place in the trash. Thank you.

PET POLICY: If you are bringing a pet, please prearrange it with telling us you are bringing a pet with your reservation. The Deer Haven Cottage is our pet designated room for pets from 15-25 lbs. A pet fee of $20 per pet per night will be charged. All of the rooms in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building and the Danville Schoolhouse buildings are no pets allowed.

The following rates apply to the Kuebler Waldrip Haus and Danville Schoolhouse Buildings.  Rates with breakfast range from $125-$185 per night for 2 people.  Extra guests in a room: each added child (ages 3-17) is $20.00, and each added adult (18 and older) is $30.00 .

The Kuebler Waldrip Haus Building has 5 separate bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and sleeps 10-16 people. Perfect for a group or 5 couples or a group of 10-14 people. The rooms include the following rooms - Kuebler's Kastle, Hillside Hideaway, Guilbeau Room, Katherine's Attic, and Room with a View.  

 

 

 

KUEBLERS KASTLE -- is a comfortable and cozy downstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building, and is named after Mrs. Betty Kuebler, Margy Waldrips mother who lived here. It has a king size bed, an antique sofa, electric fireplace, heat, AC, TV with VCR, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and supplies, and a marble top vanity.  Kueblers Kastle is decorated in a western style and has a Saltillo tile floor and barnwood.  Perfect for someone that wishes to
avoid stairs and steps. It is also wheelchair accessible (bath and lavatory).
Nightly room rate for 2 people is $135.00 plus tax, and it sleeps 2 people.

HILLSIDE HIDEAWAY -- is a delightful large upstairs room with weathered barnwood walls, and floors with carpet and Saltillo tile in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building.  Hillside has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and supplies, heat, AC, a TV with VCR, private exterior entrance. It is perfect for 2-4 people since it has a king and a double bed. Its bath with blue and white marble whirlpool tub is perfect for 2 and true relaxation. It has a private bath, Heat/AC, ceiling fans, a whirlpool tub, and a small private porch.
Nightly room rate for 2 is $145.00 plus tax. If adding, add $30 per adult and $20 per child (ages 3-17). Sleeps 2-4 people.

 

GUILBEAU (gill-bow) ROOM -- is a upstairs room directly over the kitchen in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. You get to smell coffee and breakfast.. before coffee and breakfast. It has heat, AC, TV with VCR, marble top vanity, a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee pot and supplies. The Guilbeau room has a Queen bed and a twin, and a wonderfully large bathroom with a shower and tub. This room is named after Francios Guilbeau, a French wine merchant and original owner of this property. Francios Guilbeau is credited with having saved the French wine industry because he took Mustang Grape vines from Comal County and sent them back by the ton to France where the blite resistant vines were grafted onto the diseased vines. 
Rate with breakfast for 2 people is $125 plus tax. Sleeps a maximum of 2 people.

KATHERINE'S ATTIC ROOM -- is a very large upstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. It has two king beds and 1 twin, a private bath with a shower and jacuzzi. The Katherine's Attic has heat, AC, TV with VCR, sink, dressing area, and a shared porch and kitchenette with a marble countertop, a sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot with supplies. This room is wonderfully constructed and supported by original wooden cedar beams and it still has the original wooden pegs. Rough cut cypress wood from the Guadalupe river cross the beams lines the ceiling. If walls could talk -- who knows what stories you might hear??
Rate for 2 people is $155.00 plus tax. Add $30 per extra adult (18 and older) and add $20 per extra child (ages 3-17). Sleeps 2-5 people.

ROOM WITH A VIEW -- is a cozy  upstairs room with a gorgeous view of some of the Hill Country from a large shared porch. Relax and get away from your job and stressful schedule. This sound proofed room has a private entrance, a king size bed, private bath with a shower, heat, AC, TV with a VCR, kitchenette (with refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee maker), & ceiling fans.  Rate for 2 people is $135.00 plus tax, and it sleeps 2 people.

The Danville Schoolhouse Building has 5 separate bedrooms, 5 private baths (1 jacuzzi), and sleeps 8-14 people.  This building is perfect for a group and the Danville School Room can serve as a wonderful meeting room, location for a wedding, reception, or other function. 

The East Room -- is a wonderful upstairs room with a great view of the hill country and trees, a king bed and queen sleeper sofa, a private entrance, a private bath with a shower, refrigerator, TV with VCR, phone, Heat/AC, ceiling fans, and access to a wonderful shared porch with scenic views. Rate for 2 people is $135.00.  Sleeps up to 4 people.

The West Room -- is a wonderful upstairs room with a lovely deck nestled in the trees, a king bed, a private bath with a shower, a sofa, refrigerator, TV with VCR, microwave, and a shared porch.  Come relax in a quiet country setting.  Rate for 2 people is $135.  Sleeps 2 people.

 

The Porch Room --

is a unique downstairs room (over 400 sq. ft.) with 6 windows, a private entrance and private porch, a king bed and queen sleeper sofa, kitchenette, TV with VCR, a private bath with a shower, and a porch that gets the evening shade.  This is a very popular room.  Rate for 2 people is $145.

It's so comfortable, people don't want to leave.
 

 
Sweet Retreat -- is a small downstairs room that is newly built and has a kitchenette, a writing desk, saltillo tile floor with throw rugs, shutters for privacy, and heat, AC, TV with VCR, and closet.  Rate for 2 people is $125.  Sleeps 2.  Rent this room with the schoolroom as a suite.  Ask about the rate.

Danville School Room -- is our largest downstairs room (864 sq. ft.) & is something else to see to believe. It retains the beautiful original wood ceiling, walls and floor. There is plenty of comfortable seating, a piano, and the original blackboard -- which children AND adults enjoy! It has a full kitchen, private entrance, private whirlpool bath, a queen bed, wide-screen TV, VCR, DVD, phone, refrigerator, microwave, a fully equipped kitchen, copper counter top, table and chairs, covered porch, ceiling fans, and Heat/AC. Ask about the before and after pictures! Rate for 2 people is $205.00.  Sleeps up to 4 people.
