Guilbeau Room is a comfortable upstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast building that is located in the middle of the house. Enjoy a great view of the front or the backyard of the house. The Guilbeau Room does not have a porch, however you can enjoy the patio or other outside areas with great views. The beds include a queen and a twin bed with a large bath with a shower and tub. Guests staying in the Guilbeau Room get to enjoy the smell of breakfast before having breakfast. This room is named after Francious Guilbeau, a French wine merchant who is credited with saving the French wine industry with Texas Mustang grapes that still grow here. Mr. Francious Guilbeau owned our property that was part of the Verimendi Spanish land grant in Comal County.
Guilbeau Room nightly room rate for 2 people is $195.00 plus tax. If adding guests, add $30 per adult (ages 21 and older) and $20 per child (ages 3-20). Maximum of 3 people. Our large hot breakfast brunch is included in these rates and is served in our dining room from 9 am to 10:30 am. This room is NO Smoking, No Candles and No pets.
All Guests enjoy our common room with complimentary bottled water, sodas, cookies, popcorn, free WIFI and Blue Bell ice cream.
