Kuebler's Kastle Room is a comfortable large downstairs room that was added in the 1980's to the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. The Kuebler's Kastle room can be easily accessed from the front door, the breakfast room, and the downstairs common room. The spacious room has a king width bed with fluffy pillows and colorful quilts and 2 showers - a wonderful large blue and white marble shower with a handicapped accessible seat and a regular shower in the standard bath. There are 2 blue and white marble countertops. One, perfect for a business traveler and the second, has lots of light and mirrors perfect for the wife to put on makeup and hair preparation. Kuebler's Kastle room has beautiful local white limestone rock, barn wood walls, Saltillo tile floors and a sitting area with a camel back couch. Natural sunlight enters the room through 4 shuttered windows that is perfect for reading or for a working artist. This handicapped accessible bed and breakfast room is perfect for a wheelchair with no steps.
** A LITTLE HISTORY OF THE KUEBLER NAME THAT GAVE THIS ROOM IT'S NAME. The downstairs Kuebler's Kastle room was named after Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Fisher Kuebler, Margy's mother. She lived in this room for 6 years.
The Kuebler's Kastle nightly room rate for 2 people is $185.00 plus tax, and it sleeps a maximum of 2 people (or 3 with a baby). Our wonderful large hot breakfast is included and it is served in our dining room beginning at 9 am to 11 am. This room is NO Smoking, No Candles and No pets. Thank you.
All of our guests enjoy complimentary free WIFI, drinks (bottled water or sodas), cookies and toffee and Texas Blue Bell ice cream. Our common room is in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building, and it is always open.
